Picked up a beautiful Jeep Wrangler from Adam on an event day. He gave so much time even though the whole garage was so busy. Any questions we had he was on it straight away. He even supported with some additional bits that took him above and beyond what I felt like he needed to do. If in future I’m looking to purchase again, the first thing I’ll be doing is asking if he’s around. Aside from Adam, this whole place is great! Purchasing from here puts you at ease, it doesn’t feel as though you’re being ripped off (where others places you might), the knowledge everyone has on their cars is out of this world! They don’t make you feel like a conveyer belt.

So, despite being a multiple classic car owner for over 20 years I had never heard of Fairmont! We went to look at a 1600 Sport Escort MK2 but came across an exceptional MK2 Escort RS2000 instead and the buying experience with both Sam and Martin was superb. NO pressure, allowed car to go on their ramp to look underneath, allowed a test drive, and frankly, they were just brilliant. Stellar service – I’m based at the other end of the country, so their open, clear and consistant communication was paramount in helping me to make a decision. Adam walked me through every stage, from a fair and reasonable part-ex on my current car – right the way through to assistance with private plate removal issues with the DVLA, and finally the completion of a dream car purchase for me. My newly purchased Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG was transported up to me without issue, and the car was as immaculate and cherished as had been presented as, by Adam & the Fairmont team. I had a great time buying my car from Fairmont. I waited a month for everything to settle before writing the review but my experience was very positive. I was shown the car and allowed a test drive on the first visit to the showroom and two weeks later I picked up the Civic Type R, which was in pristine condition overall. The car was beautifully detailed and properly serviced so it’s enjoyment from the get go. There was not attempt to upsell to me the insurance or warranty so was an easy and straightforward transaction. I’m looking forward to staying in touch with Fairmont in the future.

Excellent welcoming showroom with a wide range of amazing classics. The car my son and I went to see was ready for its test drive and plenty of coffee was provided to review the documentation -with no sales pressure. More than prepared to fix any minor niggles -but sales prices are pretty firm so don’t expect to haggle.

Adam kindly picked me up at train station with car I was interested in. Car was immaculate. Very warm welcome from all the staff and such a cool showroom with stunning stock. I’ve bought a pristine classic 1973 Fiat 124 Spider from Fairmont Sports & Classics. Stunning car, which is a credit to its restorers as well as Fairmont S&C who always have a great choice of keenly-price cars. All indoors, too. I specified it with different wheels and steering wheels, which was challenging with the Cromodora magnesium wheels I bought having to come from Italy and needing refurbishing. Nothing was too much trouble for David, Nikki, Sam & Max and their mechanics. Moreover, all this extra work, as well as a service and MoT + free delivery on transporter to my door were carried out free of charge. Absolutely outstanding. I’ve bought many classic cars over the past 40+ years and I can say, with no hesitation, that it’s the best service I’ve ever had. Thank you very much indeed. I recently visited Fairmont Sports and Classic to view a car. The team were very helpful and offered us coffee before we had barely stepped in the building. The range of choice catered for every wish. The trip was worth it as I have purchased a fine example of the marque I like.

I visited this dealer after a conversation with Adam, who is one of the sales guys. First impressions count for a lot in my opinion and my first impression was excellent. All the cars were very well presented. I was looking at a particular car, and David and Adam were happy for me to lift the car on one of their ramps to look under it, nothing was too much trouble. The 2 mechanics were also extremely helpful assisting me and chatting with me about the car! David bought aa Alfa Romeo Spider from me as one of his first acquisitions when setting up his business, (now sold to a lucky new owner), since then we have remained friends and I returned the compliment by purchasing a very special yellow Audi 80 Cabriolet from Fairmont. This car was so good I applied to show it at the largest classic car show in the world, the 2021 NEC Classic Car show, where it featured as
1 of only 20 cars selected across the UK in the Lancaster Pride of Ownership, Mike Brewer made the awards and is photographed with the car. I currently own 5 classic cars some much more valuable than the Audi, that said it remains a firm favourite because of its pristine condition after 21 years, a testament to the quality of cars that Fairmont offer for sale. I don’t even know where to begin, I’m astounded with the dedication from these guys. I was in the market for a BMW e30 and I spotted a beautiful example of a 1986 BMW 318i. As soon as I saw the photos I fell in love. After hours of David running round taking photos and videos of every possible thing I wanted to see and several phone calls answering my questions. I’m not going to lie I was uneasy buying such an old car without seeing it or driving it (lockdown preventing me from travelling from Cornwall to brentwood) BUT, the car arrived and it was exactly as expected, completely immaculate. Great experience and even better purchase. I have been following Fairmont for quite a while on social media whilst I have been looking for a Honda Integra. I started to realise the quality of the cars available and was impressed by the new showroom also. The day they received delivery of a Honda FD2 I know I wanted the car (trumps the Integra in my opinion and probably the best Type R ever made) and to buy from them. David has been superb throughout the transaction and described the car perfectly along with any information he had. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again (and probably will).

I bought one of my dream cars an EVO V from Derek at Fairmont Sports and Classics. WOW just WOW I live in Belfast across the pond and had to make arrangements to go see this evo. Nothing was too much trouble. I got photos and even a personalised video of the car focusing on all the points and areas I wanted focus on before I booked my flight. I am not a rich man that buys 10 cars a year I buy one car every 3/4 years but the service that I got from Derek and his team is incomparable to any of the other cars I have purchased before. I can only describe it as an experience. This is how it should feel when buying a sports car or classic car.

On our arrival (my friend and I) was given a short tour of the showroom while they moved the Evo I was interested in onto the service ramp. They gave me a bright led light and said I could inspect the car for as long as I like ( and I did probably half an hour just viewing underneath the car) then car was lowered for me to inspect the body and interior and inside the bonnet. Without me asking Derek just handed me the key to her and I got to start her on the ramp to further inspect the car while it was running. He did not know but the car was sold just then and there, I could not leave without her. We were then treated to a test drive around Fairmont.

I told Derek this is the one. He then took us upstairs and pulled a folder that contained everything from the Japanese auction grading sheet, import documents and also all receipts of parts they purchased for the car and service items. Everything was so transparent and that alone is hard to find in a car dealer today especially when selling classic cars that have been around for longer than I have.

Few weeks after I received a parcel from Fairmont Sports and Classics and it was a mug with their logo and a photo of my car also some earl grey 🙂 nice touch.
