Vehicle Information
Super rare series 1 Aston Martin DB7 i6 Manual; 1 of only 529 i6 Manuals cars ever produced.
Registered in January 1996, this Aston Martin DB7 has many unique features only found in cars manufactured between the end of 1994 and mid 1996 including a composite bonnet, no airbags, different switchgear, seats, steering, brakes and a firmer suspension set up.
The DB7 utilised a steel chassis equipped with all-round independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes and power assisted rack-and-pinion steering, whilst the 3239cc DOHC straight-six engine boasted four valves per cylinder and an Eaton supercharger producing 335bhp and 360lbft of torque.
Designed by Ian Callum, and credited at the time as being the most beautiful car design since the E Type Jaguar, this particular car is finished in Cheviot deep burgundy with contrasting parchment and burgundy hide interior. The interior has swathes of leather covering nearly every surface, whilst being a non-air bag car the steering wheel is a delightful three spoke wooden rimmed item which matches the walnut dashboard perfectly. The icing on the cake must be the optional three piece 5 spoke Aliseo alloy wheels with polished rims that add a degree of aggression to the otherwise svelte exterior.
