Vehicle Information
In great condition with a full restoration, respray, five owners and it comes with plenty of paperwork and receipts.
This 1978 BMW 633 CSI is very rare in these current times, especially with the paintwork that suits it perfectly. This era of BMW is where they nailed the designing of their cars, both inside and out. Not only is this example in good condition, but it’s also had work completed in its previous years to keep it in fantastic order.
In 1989, this 633 had a lengthy full restoration carried out which included stripping the car down to bare metal for it to be primed and resprayed, excluding the interior. The paintwork is an extraordinary colour, not many on the road have this rare colour. There's also silver 16-inch Alpina alloy wheels to suit the rest of the cars styling.
Many parts were removed, checked over or replaced as part of the process, totalling a cost of over £7,200. In 2014, this BMW also had some maintenance and welding completed to keep it in good working order, costing over £2,400. All the documents will come with the car.
The BMW has had 5 owners and currently has 123,573 miles on the clock. The 3.2-litre petrol engine sounds smooth, and it has a five-speed gearbox. The ride is comfortable and spacious weather you’re in the back or front.
Not often do we get a rare 633 CSI coupe in our showroom, let alone seeing it on the road, and this is certainly a car you should view if you’re into your classics or you have a soft spot for BMW’s.
Fairmont Sports and Classics will gladly supply this car with a fresh oil and filter service and prospective buyers are welcome to view the vehicle’s underside. If you’re interested in this vehicle or any other vehicles we have for sale, please call us on 01277 563561 or view our showroom:
