So let us cut to the chase... Ford Capri's typically come in two states - good or bad. Good ones with correct low mileage as this one has, are typically very big money. Bad ones are also big money. Until now that is... Our Capri here is a two owner from new, with the current owner having had the car since 1990 and we are offering at an affordable, sensible price.
It has clearly been loved and cherished, not totally original, they rarely are, as shows some small signs of paint repairs. That said it’s one of the better ones - not concours or perfect but then if it was, it would be £50,000.
So, the body and paint are above average, it has only had the two owners, but most importantly is the mileage of 28000 which is correct. We have supporting paperwork including the original service book confirming the mileage to be correct. The registered owner has covered only 18,000 since 1990 and had the car dry stored for long periods until now.
We have had carried out initial inspection of the car and have found all interior switches are operating correctly including the rear screen heater! Radio is original too and carpets and headlining, as with the seating is all as you’d want it to be. Recent MOT passed without any advisories. Original service book with stamps for the early years, original wallet and all the books from new together with a binder neatly incorporating service and maintenance invoices.
