This impressive looking ULEZ exempt executive express was supplied new by the famous Alan Day Ltd of Finchley Road in 1979. Miraculously it has been owned by its registered keeper for a staggering 42 years having taken ownership in 1981.
A Suffolk based business owner, he covered most of the miles in the early years of its ownership with the most recent of its 7 services in its original service book, carried out as long ago as 1987. From this date on business clearly rewarded him new vehicles but it was the love for this car that it was kept on for the occasional special use.
More recently it has been garaged unused where it has survived incredibly well to the extent that its our view most of this car is in its original condition. Yes, we have carried out some minor mechanical and some small paint repairs, but these were necessary to bring this car to our own high retail standards.
It looks stunning in this bottle green colour with its excellent green velour trim and its green tinted glass. Stand back and admire its beauty as the green paintwork contrasts with its like new sparkling chrome bumpers. Nothing makes a classic like chrome does.
With the new London regulations coming into force very soon, it’s a pleasing thought for us that in a few years classics will adorn London streets again and nothing could look cooler than cruising Kings Road in this beauty.
