To commemorate the end of the production line for home market MGBs, a final 1,000 Limited Edition (LE) models were built in October 1980, which included 421 Roadsters and 579 GTs.
All LE Roadsters were finished in a striking Metallic Bronze and were trimmed in Orange and Brown cloth and featured distinctive Gold stripes on their flanks, deep front spoilers and bespoke alloy wheels.
This exceptionally late and low mileage example was registered to its first and only owner in May 1982 was supplied by Harris Motors of Wells. In 2011 the car was placed in long term dry storage and was just recently removed following the passing of its owner.
Showing a mere 8,523 miles recorded, this is a wonderful survivor and is presented in extremely well preserved condition.
This is definitely one for the collector.
Supplied with V5C showing 1 owner, service history and MOT history to support the mileage and provenance. Has recently received a new MOT and is ready to be enjoyed and driven.
