With Porsche of the 70's & 80's rocketing up in price, the 924 Turbo still represents amazing value for money. It’s got a great shape with its period curved rear screen, provides a lot of fun from the original turbos characteristics, handles well, and is super retro with its pop-up headlights and brilliant Pasha interior.

Paintwork and bodywork are in a very good order having had improvements over the years. Only slight faults on the wheel arch edges where stones hit from the tyres. Happy to improve this for a purchaser. The dashboard has not got the usual cracks which is great news and the headlining also intact.

It makes for a perfect affordable and enjoyable classic whether that’s for a younger enthusiast or for somebody simply looking for a nostalgic throwback.

This example has the desirable turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder in-line engine producing 170 bhp sent to the rear wheels. It is also fitted with a reconditioned speed/rev match racing dog-leg gearbox which those who race will understand. It takes a little getting used too but when mastered makes for a fast racing style of driving - your wife might not like it.

Presented in Alpine White with factory 15-inch ATS Turbo alloys and is fitted the iconic black and white checkerboard ‘Pasha’ velour interior with beige edging and dash. Black 3 spoke sports steering steering wheel finish off the original factory finish.

Currently sitting on 49,000 miles – this 924 Turbo is a proper 80's survivor. Clearly a looked after example and presents beautifully throughout with just a few marks here and there telling you it’s a car almost 45 years old.

Just had a thorough recomission service costing £2500 where the timing belt and drive belts were replaced, new battery, filter and oil service.

A better than usual example and one of the finest seen by Fairmont for some time. That said the last one we sold was not a Turbo and still achieved £33000

Better yet, it is now registered as a historic vehicle meaning no UK road tax payment, is exempt from MOTs and for Londoners it can be enjoyed throughout the ULEZ area with no charge.
