1985 (C) Porsche 944 Lux finished in desireable Alpine white with black pinstripe interior.

Displaying a shade over 80,000 miles, this 944 is in great all-round condition and being a pre facelift car this car is fitted with the sought after ‘early three dial flat dash’ which remarkably remains undamaged and free from cracking.

Powered by Porsches venerable 2.5 four-cylinder twin balancer shaft engine, this smooth powerhouse with huge torque pulls this 944 hard, whilst the gearchange is both precise and a joy to use.

Renowned for their ride and handling, 944’s have a finely balanced chassis which is no doubt helped by the transaxle gearbox giving the car ideal weight distribution.

This car sits with purpose on classis Fuchs style 5 spoke wheels with colour coded centers which look fantastic and add a real period look to the car.

Coming with a large and interesting history file, this 944 has clearly been looked after over the years with many invoices from renowned Porsche specialists such as Camtune and Francis Tuthill being present as well as a selection of old MOT’s, logbooks, receipts and photographs. In recent years, It has benefitted from a lot of expenditure. In excess of £4000 was spent with specialist Tuthill in 2014 on and further £2500 spent with Design 911. In 2019 and 2020, a further £2000 was spent on servicing and maintenance. More recently in 2023 a further £1500 was spent replacing fuel pump, clutch slave and master cylinder with new ignition parts and two Conti tyres.

Thankfully the original handbooks, service book and folder are still present and in remarkably good condition, whilst the spare keys and original Porsche classics book also with the car.

As prices of classic Porsche’s climb ever higher the 944 is one of the last models to offer the full Porsche experience at a relatively affordable price point, however how long the prices of these great sports cars stay this competive remains to be seen. Its our opinion that come 2030 demand for these aspirated Porsches will rocket especially those with manual gearboxes.
Very soon in a few months this car becomes ULEZ and Road tax exempt.

As with all our cars, we welcome any inspection, and before delivery a service and fresh MOT will take place to ensure this Porsche is ready to be driven and enjoyed by her new custodian.
