This Japanese market only Subaru Impreza Limited Edition WRX STi Spec C, is the final homologation Impreza built by Subaru, before their sad withdrawal from WRC caused by a world recession. Interestingly, Subaru returned to the original WRC Championship winning highly acclaimed 2.0-litre flat-4 turbo boxer engine, for this pure one off final 'homologation' special. Interested parties should read the evo.co.uk article, which explains without bias just how good this car is, and that it's their opinion it is better than the 2.5-litre car that Cosworth modified for the UK market.
This Impreza feels extremely planted, with it's four-wheel drive and uprated differentials, rally technology and huge 316bhp - it’s full of pure excitement for the very serious driver. Subaru’s are known for having excellent handling and a rewarding and peerless driving sensation, but this is a step up with even further capabilities.
Fitted with a Cobra exhaust system with its own unique sound (the standard STi cat-back exhaust system is also included with the car). With a genuine 50,000 miles, we believe this to be the ultimate of all Impreza's. Ignore those who say otherwise as we have driven and sold them all, including 22B's. This hatchback looks amazing and for most is actually a better looking car, which to some is more pleasing on the eye.
This car comes with two original keys, the import grade sheet (Grade 4 - high grade Japanese appraisal), lots of books with it's service history, the handbook and instruction manuals from when it was new. Presented in the famous Subaru Sonic WRC blue with gold wheels, this car has huge road presence. We know this car well having sold it in 2023, at which time we replaced the cambelt, pulleys and water pump. These items were from Roger Clark Motorsport and are upgraded items, as recommended by them.
