1986 Toyota Landcruiser – 70 Series
The Toyota Landcruiser is the ubiquitous off roader, seen operating in some of the harshest conditions in the world. The model had its origins in the 1950s and the 70 series was released in 1984, seeing Toyota stick closely to its original roots whilst responding to market requirements for recreational machines.
Our car is a 1986 Toyota Landcruiser 70 series powered by the renowned 2.4L Turbo charged diesel engine. The car has a five speed gearbox which in high ratio runs in two wheel drive. This though is accompanied by separately engageable low ratio which allows four wheel drive for the really difficult terrain. It has a robust body on chassis construction.
Our car was imported by us from Japan and first registered in the UK on 1 July 2025. It comes with a Japan grade 4A auction rating which ranks it amongst the highest quality. The bodywork and interior are all in excellent condition consistent with the low recorded miles of 23,500 (37,700 KM). The underside is all clean as with the majority of vehicles from Japan. It comes with all terrain tyres and is ready for some more adventures with its new owner!
