This is an impressive Triumph GT6 and here is the incredible ownership history:

Owner No. 1: Leo Villa OBE (Donald Cambell of Bluebird’s Land Speed Record fame’s chief engineer and good friend)

Owner No. 2: Philip Villa (Son of Donald Cambell’s chief engineer and husband to Donalds daughter Gina Cambell)

Owner No. 3: Gina Cambell (Daughter of Donald Cambell and CEO of family Bluebird affairs)

With this brilliant and documented history all you could ever wish for is for us to describe this car as concours – not a description used lightly by Fairmont. Over the years it has swept all others aside picking up many trophies and awards including the prestigious 'Best in show' at the annual GT6 owners meets.

This car has matching numbers both chassis and the engine, and comes with the Heritage certificate confirming it to be a UK home market example first supplied in Reigate Surrey. It presents today in the original colour of Pimento Red with black Nylonchord interior. Options purchased were Disc Wheels, Overdrive, Heater, Seat Belts, Headrests, Laminated Windscreen, Tinted Glass and uprated tyres. These all remain present and working today.

On the dashboard is a St Christopher that Donald Campbell donated to Leo and we have a picture of Leo on this cars bonnet holding a model of Bluebird. And more and more and more.

Back to the paperwork and ownership. This car has two large files of paperwork including handwritten letters from Gina Cambell to what appears to be a subsequent owner who seemed to have an interest in her personal racing life and achievements. On Bluebird headed paper she writes fondly asking how her beloved GT6 is doing. There is also a beautifully written letter from a Mr Mahon to another buyer confirming he bought it from Gina Campbell and he says that the mileage is genuine, never been resprayed and never let him down. There is no date on this letter.
It’s our strong opinion that there can be no better GT6 in the country and on top it has this wonderful history.

This car comes with a 6-month national warranty from Autoguard Warranties and it will receive an oil and filter service prior to delivery.
