Occasionally a very special car comes along, and this 1963 Volvo 121 Amazon saloon is one of those cars.
Forming part of a small private collection for the last 17 years, and having only had 4 owners from new 682 POU is simply delightful in every respect.
Finished in old English white, the bodywork is in very nice condition with tight consistent shut lines and good quality paintwork with only the smallest of blemishes to report, which is to be expected of a car touching 60 years old.
The interior is simply a lovely place sit. In fantastic order throughout with black carpets, comfortable dark red vinyl seats, classic strip speedometer and a period correct radio, it’s like stepping back in time to when the world was a simpler (and better?) place.
Sitting proudly on the top of the dashboard is the original supplying dealer’s plaque (Seymour Horwell Garages) and contained within the history file is the original book pack including the all-important service book containing numerous stamps going all the way back to the cars initial pre delivery inspection.
Over the years this car has received the love it deserves and there are a large number of invoices from both Volvo main dealers and noted 121 specialists Amazon Cars together with a file full of old MOT certificates.
A truly lovely period car which brings a smile to all that see and drive her. Simply Lovely!
