Trade, Clearance & Bikes

We recognise that many classic car buyers would rather tinker, fix and prepare cars themselves, therefore preferring to buy a lower value project that requires attention. For this reason, before sending to auction, we offer for sale some vehicles strictly under conditions as set out below.

The Sale of Goods Act 2015 prevents official retailers like us from selling any vehicles that are not covered under this act.

However, our trade clearance section has vehicles taken in part exchange that do not fit our retail profile. It may include vehicles that we have little knowledge of i.e. motorcycles, or those that do not conform to our warranty supplier’s conditions. Others are vehicles that we have discounted to a level that they can only be sold as a trade/project sale.

Trade, clearance, project and bikes will be strictly ‘sold as seen’ without any guarantees or warranties and may have faults. This will include motorcycles and it may include part exchange vehicles that we do not inspect. This must be accepted by any purchaser and should you have any doubts then we suggest you do not buy.

Purchases of these vehicles will be treated as a sale to a ‘motor trader/dealer’ or to a purchaser buying a ‘project’. A disclaimer must be signed or an email received confirming your acceptance.
