This is a spectacular and exceptional example of the Austin Morris Mini 1275GT. Not only in its condition and originality of specification but also this cars V5 shows only 2 previous owners from new and has benefitted from a professional comprehensive restoration by Braithspeed ltd exceeding £20,000 of invoiced parts excluding much labour! It's our opinion that the true figure of restoration would be significantly more than this asking price.
The engine has been hugely rebuilt to include the benefit of a duplex chain and we confirm that she drives superbly well having covered 500 miles since. The clutch and brake cylinders, brake linings were also replaced and it has since had a service which included a coolant change.

The two-year restoration work was completed in 2013,. Prior to this the Mini was carefully dismantled to component form, the shell was taken for chemical stripping to renowned experts Surface Processing Limited. OEM panels were sourced including the front wings, rear quarter panels, door skins, valances, gusset closing panels, front panel, sill panels, front and rear subframe and mounting points.
This Mini was zinc etch-primed before being repainted in gloss black and has also been ceramic coated delivering a deep gloss shine. The underside has been coated with a protective substance and unlike many restorations this has been carried out with great care and detail. This should give many yeras of ptotection in all weathers and maintain the quility of the underside.
Lovely Superlight 12-inch alloy wheels finished in gold and chrome which match the gold stripes down the side complement the car perfectly. As well as this, this Mini also benefited from a new wiring loom, new Cibie spotlights and a variety of chrome parts.
The interior could be mistaken for brand new, with Newton Commercial interior panels including quality fitted carpets and headlining to bring the Mini back to its former glory. Fairmont have improved this vehicle further by fitting new correct coloured carpeting throughout and sourcing and fitting the correct period 1275 GT seats.
All documents including the MOT history, parts and maintenance invoices, as well as the photographed restoration will come with the car.
