1973 Fiat 124 Spider CS1 with 55,000 miles and presented gloriously in Rosso Red over a recently retrimmed black leather interior.
Arrived in the UK in 2017 and has had just the one owner here.
This example has the rarer CS1 chassis number, meaning it is a genuine European import and one of approximately 778 Spiders made between 1973 – 1975.
It’s one UK owner was a classic car enthusiast and he meticulously cared for her, covering just 500km in the last year, only driving it in fair weather and stored her in a dry garage when not.
Under the bonnet the car has been modified to Abarth 124 spec with producing around 128bhp. Technical specification includes a genuine Abarth 124 exhaust manifold, twin Webber car, in addition to a recent new alternator, steering idler box reconditioned and two new front wheel bearings.
It has been treated to 4 brand-new Toyo tyres and all 4 wheels were professionally restored two years ago. This 124 was also featured in the well-known magazine Auto Italia in October 2020 issue number 296.
