Is there a more iconic British sportscar that the MGB Roadster? With the exception of the Jaguar E Type we think not.
Finished in classic tartan red with silver spoked center lock wheels and a black hood, this little MG is simply delightful, and being an original chrome bumper car makes this car so much prettier and more desirable than the later MGB’s with their big ungainly rubber bumpers.
Over the years the interior has been subject to improvement with the seats being nicely trimmed in black with red piping whist the carpets and black crackle dashboard are in excellent order. To finish things off nicely a classic three spoke Mota Lita steering wheel has been fitted.
Starting on the button, the venerable 1.8 B series engine burbles into life and pulls strongly whilst the gears change slickly and with a satisfying mechanical feeling.
Having had only 5 owners in total over the last 56 years, with her last keeper becoming custodian all the way back in 1997, it is clear this car has been loved, cherished and enjoyed.
Whilst not in the first flush of youth this MG still presents very nicely and is ready to be used and enjoyed by her next custodian.
Before delivery this car will be inspected and serviced in our workshop and supplied with a fresh MOT.
